LinkedIn is making itself a better place to catch up on the latest news. With a new Trending Storylines feature, the business-centric social network offers users personalized groups of stories based around recent topics. Some of the content originates from the network and other articles are from elsewhere on the web.
Trending Storylines is available by tapping the “Trending” tab on a mobile device or through a tab on the desktop site. It’s currently limited to users in the United States and it only works in English.
Storylines is focused on technology, finance, and healthcare. It’ll expand beyond those topic areas over time.
All of the content is curated by a group of 24 editors, with LinkedIn also utilizing machine learning to make the content personalized.
