The 821 follows the 820, which was included in most every top-end Android phone this past year, including the Galaxy S7, the HTC 10, and Xiaomi’s Mi 5. The new chip comes with a 10 percent increase in performance and Its quad-core CPU runs at 2.4GHz. It’ll only be included on the top model of the 3 Deluxe.
The other Zenfone 3 Deluxe versions will come with an 820 chip and either 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, or 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage. The Snapdragon 821 version will cost $780. The 820 version starts at $500.
